THE 1213 JEWELRY STORY

Why is my jewelry brand named '12:13 Jewelry’?

It is based on Ecclesiastes 12:13. Because we all have times when we wonder about the purpose of life and, as this verse says, our purpose is to live according to the ways of love.

The energy of love is present all of the time whether it is seen in the changing seasons, daily acts of kindness and grace, or simply being the best we can be. Peshah, 12:13 Jewelry, Author & Author

Originally from the East Coast, having worked in many art genres such as fashion design, printmaking & painting, Peshah has been living on the MS Gulf Coast since right before Hurricane Katrina hit.

Her determination to rebuild 12:13 Jewelry, after losing her business in the hurricane, has brought Peshah's work to major museums such as The Mobile Museum of Art, The Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art, The Walter Anderson Museum of Art and other shops and museums.

Peshah has been featured on national media, including Gulf Coast Woman and Judaica in the Spotlight magazines.

Peshah is also the author of the Swanky Genius book series and a mentor to many artists. Additionally, she designs for a plethora of nonprofits to help raise funds for their causes.

The 12:13 Jewelry designs are composed of sterling silver chains, pearls, alloy, wood, vegan cord, semiprecious stones, faceted glass and crystals. All silver earring wires are stainless steel.

All of the jewelry designing, photography and website building is done by Peshah.
